At 6:10 am, March 4, 2010, we let the mooring lines go! Adiosto, our cleaning person, has been promoted to pilot because he is a seasoned fisherman who knows the channels out of the river to the Pacific Ocean.

We were happy to have him serve as our pilot He received $30 for his one hour of work; far different than the $30 he charged for 3 days of cleaning It cost us a $50 agent fee, paid to Tripp, the owner of the Puerto Amistad Yacht Club where Dream Caper was moored, to get our "zarpe," exit authorization.

The other two boats who were going to accompany us out of the river did not use Tripp and now have problems with clearing immigration so we were unable to join us.
