Here we are in cold and snowy Finland, what a culture shock it was to arrive here from the tropicsWe travelled basically in shorts and flip flops as we had not really anticipated spending time in the North just yet.
The flights went well and we were extremely jet lagged for the first two daysWe has to go shopping for winter shoes, gloves, etcbecause we were freezingThe kids enjoyed themselves rolling in the snow and having snowball fights, for them the arctic has its charm as they have not really experienced it before.
We are cheering up the family as best as we can here and hope things will be sunnier soonWe did have a very dramatic incident though, the second day here, Niklas made a triple twist on the slippery stairs which resulted in a trip to the hospital, the diagnosis was four broken ribs and rest for about four weeks.
He is not allowed to fly for the next month, so I guess we will not return to the boat for the next month or so
