We know have a date for when we can expect RIM's iPad challenge.
Bloomberg reports that RIM, the company behind the popular BlackBerry device, will launch a tablet in November. The tablet will about the same size os the iPad.
The device will have roughly the same dimensions as the iPad, which has a 9.7-inch diagonal screen, said the two people who wouldn't be identified because the plans haven't been made public. The device will include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technology that will allow people to use their BlackBerry smartphones to connect to the Internet, the two people said.
Bloomberg says RIM intends to call the device Blackpad. RIM has also obtained the blackpad.com domain. Apple seems to have a set a trend with the unfortunate "Pad" name. HP recently
filed for a Palmpad trademark.
