Toshiba's New Tablet: Success or Faileo? [Digital Daily]

Add Toshiba to the list of consumer electronic manufacturers developing a tablet for Google’s (GOOG) Android OS The device, which is to be called the Folio 100, will run Android 2.2 (Froyo), feature a 10.1-inch multi-touch display, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor and support for Flash.
Initially, it’s to be WiFi-only, though the company is considering a second model with 3G support The Folio 100 will debut in Europe, the Middle East and Africa by year-endNo word yet on a U.Slaunch.
