9/10/2010
We have been in Ucluelet for the last couple of daysAfter leaving Esquimalt we had a calm overnight motor out the Strait of Juan de Fuca - beautiful sunset over Cape Flattery -- and up to BamfieldHiked from Bamfield out to Keeha Bay and spent a relaxing few nights in the Barkley Sound's Broken Group, where we were treated to a night-time show of phosphorescence as a sea lion chased schools of juvenile salmon around the boat! The fish kept running into the boat all night and in the morning we found some dead ones wedged in between the rudder and skeg! .
