We have now been in Crescent City for six days, since pulling in late Friday night after a day of motoring preceded by a day of strong southerliesWe've been hiding out here to avoid the gale force northwesterly that blew from here to south of Mendocino on Monday/Tuesday, and are now waiting for a strong southerly to abate and the next fresh north wind to commence.
