AMD Will Use TSMC, Not GlobalFoundries, At 28nm

Color us surprised on this oneGiven TSMC's tremendous problems ramping 40nm and GlobalFoundries sprint towards 28nm production, we expected that Sunnyvale would switch to GF for future 28nm production of Krishna and Wichita (the two cores that replace Ontario and Zacate).
As it turns out, that isn't the caseAMD has announced that it'll stick with TSMC at 28nm (the 2012 timeframe for the two processors remains unchanged.) We know that AMD was considering GlobalFoundries as a major 28nm partner at one point.
