Sea Otter's Year of Adventure: Leaving France
2/6/2011
Left Fort du France yesterday after receiving our import permit for Stormy for Dominica Went south, across the bay to Trois Islet - the home of Martinique's most famous daughter - L'imperatrice Josephine.
(more on her to follow) Pretty little town Only stayed one night though, this morning we moved on to Anse Mitan were we stopped for lunch and two swims (one before and one after lunch) Water very clear and the perfect temperature.
Word in the previous anchorage was that our planned Monday departure for Dominica may not be best weather wise prompted us to continue north to StPierre to allow for an (appropriate) Sunday departure for Dominica if conditions call for it.
