Woke this morning to sunshineBig blue heron out the windowHave been moving more equipment on the boat and trying find a place for itWill bolt on the solar panels today before heading down to Everett to pick up Shaun a canidate for crew.

Matthew will meet us in Port TownsendPlan to head out into the Straits of Juan De Fuca and sail for 36 hours west and turn around a come backThis will hopefully give crew a chance to decide if it is for them or not.

Leiann will be sailing down to Everett and will leave the boat tomorrow morning while I conduct sea trials with the crewI will be back in Port Townsend on Friday the 9th for the boat festivalIt will be our 10th annual attendance of the festival and our 10th anniversary also.

We visted the festival on our honeymoon and it was also when 9-11-01 happenedSo stay tuned as we prepare to head offshore
