You've probably noticed by now but there's a juggernaut in the restaurant industry, and it goes by the name of Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG). It's been one of a handful of feel-good success stories since late 2008, maintaining a skyward trajectory with few breaks. There are many reasons for Chipotle's success, including a fantastic business model that boasts healthy ingredients, great service, good prices and awesome taste. Personally, that's why I make sure to stop in for lunch every Friday. The key to Chipotle's recent success, and what keeps its stock soaring, is that it is a relative newcomer in the fast-food market and as a result it is opening stores at a fast pace, which only adds to its already strong same-store comps.
