I still remember from junior high 13 years ago. My friend, who I had become "too cool" for after graduating elementary school, assumed that just because we had been best friends for years, I would want to be his partner in gym. I started ranting to some other friends about how annoying he was and how I didn't like him anymore, and that it was annoying that he wanted to be my partner. He was right there.

I still feel bad about what I said and how I ditched him. He was actually the cool one. He was his own person and I was a tween automaton. He's actually probably a redditor. Robert, I'm sorry man. I hope you're well.

EDIT: So my friend Adam just facebooked me a minute ago saying "You're a bad person, TheGreyDuck. Treating your junior high friends like that... tsk tsk tsk." I guess I made the front page. So thanks y'all! Ugh, but this dude Adam is such a loser. He assumes that just cause we're friends, he can facebook me? So annoying.

JK dude. Adam, this one's for you buddy.

EDIT2: I'm glad this thread got popular. I'm sure it's provided some laughs, but I also hope that it cements the lesson we all know in our hearts. Don't talk shit, and be excellent to each other. I think I've become a better person since Jr High, but I think it's time to redouble my efforts. I hope you join me!
