Rio Tinto chief Tom Albanese waives bonus after profits drop on aluminium hit

Rio Tinto chief executive Tom Albanese has waived his bonus after an $8.9bn charge on the miner's aluminium business pushed it into the red in the second half and led to a 35pc fall in full-year profits.
