The silver segment has been a puzzling mix over the last 12 months. Good news had silver's average price for 2011 an impressive 74% increase over 2010's average price. Yet silver stocks definitely fell into a have or have not where some companies and their investors enjoyed banner stock price increases, while others languished or even plunged. Oddly, the share price did not always match company performance, leaving some companies overvalued, while others stand over-priced.
